While negotiating the terms of his appearance at Chemawa, Jerrickson was very professional and resonded to emails and phone calls in a timely manner. ultimately lead to his occupation as a motivational speaker and entertainer! His interaction with the crowd is genuine
and fun! As a Navajo, he represents a community, and spreads the message to other Native American Students of

I have to applaud your willingness to take time out of your life to bring some encouraging words to our youth. With so many distractions in their lives and negativity, they need all they can get these days. I was very thrilled we were able to make this happen. I wished we could have had the proper equipment to work your music better. But still, your performance overpowered the music today.
I had many parents coming in to check their children out and I noticed that they didn’t want to leave the gym. That is my reassurance that they were enjoying your show immensely. I encourage you to continue your work. This is a great way to help our youth stay on the right track in their lives. Again, thank you for contacting us. Jerrickson Hosteen has a very captivating story. He comes from the very small town of Sawmill, AZ. When he started performing with the basketball his family didn’t support his aspirations as a performer and motivational speaker. Despite, the challenges he kept moving forward and now possesses a very entertaining skill. His passion

I first acquainted with Jerrickson Hosteen when he toured with The James & Ernie Comedy Tour to the Yakama Nation in September 2014. Not knowing what Jerrickson stood for or what he had to present. (I was very impressed to say the least once I saw what his talent is & the positive message he shares of his life)
Ive never seen anyone (other than the Harlem Globetrotters) spin & dribble several basketballs with such ease & dexterity. It is truly amazing to watch Jerrickson perform.
I can appreciate Jerrickson message as he shared that when he was younger, he was bullied and through that, he was able to turn something that impacted his life negatively, into a positive message of overcoming & achieving.
Jerrickson’s talent with the basketballs is truly a testimony of “Practice Makes Possible” & if you have a skill or talent & you wish to improve on it, you can perfect it through perseverance.
